The LED retrofit sets for microscopes and slit lamps
Many microscopes and slit lamps still in use are equipped with lighting systems whose bulb or halogen lamps often fail and need to be replaced. The replacement lamps are increasingly difficult to obtain and often expensive.
Using our SPOT LED retrofit sets, it is possible to convert these devices to long-life and energy-saving LED operation with minimal effort.
Robust and reliable
The SPOT retrofit sets are designed to fit the microscope or slit lamp exactly. All components are made of durable material and are optimized for long-lasting operation. Our LED illumination technology has a service life of approx. 30,000h and is therefore practically maintenance-free. Compared to conventional microscope lamps, the use of LED technology produces no harmful UV and IR radiation and no additional heat source.
Easy mounting
Our LED lighting unit replaces the old lighting in a few minutes and in a simple way. The huge original power supply unit is no longer needed, a new, much smaller power supply unit and all cables are included.
State-of-the-art lighting technology for proven devices
The SPOT LED retrofit sets are compatible and easily replaceable with the old standard incandescent lamps or housings as well as halogen lamps with light guides. The annoying fan noise is eliminated and, what's more, our LED lighting is brighter, more energy-efficient and more reliable. An integrated dimmer allows brightness control directly on the housing.

Microscopes
SPOT 19-M
- for ZEISS OPMI 1/9 with bulb in metal housing
The first generation of the ZEISS OPMI 1/9 is equipped with an incandescent lamp lighting system with metal housing. For this purpose we offer a suitable LED lighting unit SPOT 19-M.
SPOT 19-K
- for ZEISS OPMI 1/9 with bulb in plastic housing
The second generation of the ZEISS OPMI 1/9 is equipped with a bulb lighting system with plastic housing. We also offer a matching LED lighting unit SPOT 19-K for this.
SPOT 19-FC

The ZEISS OPMI 1/9-FC uses halogen lighting with a light guide. We replace this with our latest LED lighting SPOT 19-FC unit.
Slit Lamps
SPOT SL125

The ZEISS SL125 slit lamp has a light bulb in a plastic housing. We offer a suitable LED lighting unit SPOT SL125 for this.
SPOT BG900
-for Haag-Streit series 900 with incandescent lighting
Older Haag-Streit slit lamps of the 900 series are equipped with an incandescent lamp. We replace it with our LED lighting unit SPOT BG900.
SPOT BH900
-for Haag-Streit series 900 with halogen lamp illumination
For Haag-Streit slit lamps of the 900 series, which are equipped with a halogen lamp, we offer our LED lighting unit SPOT BH900.
