Structure and components of the microscope

Like most of our products, the FLAIR microscope has a modular design. Convince yourself of its variety and the different configurations.

Microscope head

With regard to the 5-stage apochromatic magnification changer and direct illumination, we use the high-quality and compact microscope head of the ZEISS OPMI Pico.

Binocular tube

The microscope is available with a straight tube, an inclined tube or a swivel tube as well as with fixed objective or manual resp. motorized fine focusing. It can therefore be used in a wide range of medical fields.

Power supply

Power can be supplied by a 110-240VAC mains connection, a 12VDC car battery or a 12VDC solar panel. The integrated rechargeable battery with 1h runtime ensures absolute reliability.

Multifunctional clamp

Our patented multifunctional clamp is easy to mount on a standard rail of an operating table, a table top or our floor stand. The column can be tilted by ±10 degrees.

Co-observation device

Optionally, a co-observation device can be attached by means of a beam splitter. This is available in monocular or binocular as well as short or long versions.

Videosystem (new)

The beam splitter can optionally be used to attach a video system, which enables high-resolution images and video files to be transferred to a TV set. Live tracking or storage, with cable or wireless via WLAN, just as required.
